Truckwars was founded by Jeff and Craig Obringer but the sport was originated from the Wapakoneta truck stop years ago. Crowds came from all over to watch this sport now that the Truckstop days are over, Craig and Jeff decided that the sport did not have to be over. They started pulling their own trucks and realized that there needed to be more pulls. They started off in Van Wert county in 2007 and now have been expanding to other counties so everyone can enjoy this amazing sport. Truckwars is proud of the sport and at every pull keeps the drivers in mind.

There is always the bragging rights that you have the toughest truck around if you can win one of these events. Truckwars vow to keep this sport fair and worth everyones while to come and watch or even pull if you think you have what it takes to win one of our events.
Crowds at these events range from 600 people all the way up to 8,000 people. Most pulls Truckwars puts on coolers are welcome with no glass bottles. This means most the time, the crowd can carry in there own alcoholic beverages and have a good time. Also for the family people, we have the grandstand area where you and your children can come watch these shows and enjoy the pulls also. Children 10 and under get in free. So you can pack up your kids come out for a cheap night of fun.
Truckwars loves to go to new areas and get this sport up and running. We are one of the biggest promoters in the state of Ohio and love to see this great sport expand into all different counties. So if your fair or county is interested in getting this sport into their counties plus feel free to call Truckwars and Truckwars will be more than happy to get it started for you.
